In the 15thth minute of the game Rıfkı Sıratullah who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kocaelispor FK's Arif Ozan Demirkan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ali Çağrı Toktuğ might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arif Ozan Demirkan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ali Çağrı Toktuğ ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 18th minute, Rıfkı Sıratullah made a precise shot to the right of Arif Ozan Demirkan. Kocaelispor FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 21st minute Ali Çağrı Toktuğ shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Ozan Demirkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rıfkı Sıratullah stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rıfkı Sıratullah in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arif Ozan Demirkan saved Kocaelispor FK from getting behind. Ali Çağrı Toktuğ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tevfik Semim came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Kocaelispor FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tevfik Semim couldn't finish the play. Yenimahalle JK's Rıfkı Sıratullah got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Ali Çağrı Toktuğ got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yenimahalle JK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
