The referee ignored Tatvan's protests and gave Tayyip Aydın a yellow card for diving instead. If Sabahattin Hızlı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orhan Kurban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Halil Can Başayoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aycan Taravet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Gökceada booed when Tatvan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hurşit Ökmen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Tatvan's Tayyip Aydın got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute, Seyfettin Nasih made a precise shot to the right of Tuğrul Uçar. Tatvan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Aycan Taravet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuğrul Uçar having to interfere. Tuğrul Uçar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aycan Taravet in the 31st minute of the match. When Gökceada's Seyfettin Nasih in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tatvan's goalie prevented a goal. Orhan Kurban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halil Can Başayoğlu having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Orhan Kurban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Tatvan players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gökceada were winning 0-1.

After 56 minutes, Güralp Serhan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gökceada and the Tatvan players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, Güralp Serhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Halil Can Başayoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orhan Kurban in the 58th minute of play. The supporters of Tatvan booed when Gökceada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güralp Serhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 minutes of play, Tatvan's Orhan Kurban made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Halil Can Başayoğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 70 minutes into the game, Seyfettin Nasih lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Tuğrul Uçar. If Seyfettin Nasih had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Tuğrul Uçar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Hurşit Ökmen kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Seyfettin Nasih managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gökceada's supporters rose to their feet, but Seyfettin Nasih was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tuğrul Uçar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aycan Taravet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Tuğrul Uçar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Seyfettin Nasih sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gökceada walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
