With a little luck, DEĞİRMENÖZÜ SK's Ahmet Göktuğ Ilıca got control of the ball when Erman Keçecioğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Giray Serir charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giray Serir the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Ömer Tolgay managed to get in a good position for a shot. BJK İSTANBUL's supporters rose to their feet, but Ömer Tolgay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Göktuğ Ilıca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ercan Şengil came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the BJK İSTANBUL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ercan Şengil couldn't finish the play. Ercan Şengil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Göktuğ Ilıca having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Ömer Tolgay reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ahmet Göktuğ Ilıca. The goal made the score 1-0. Arif Memduh Özbir hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anton Finnman in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ünsal Batırhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th play minute Ömer Tolgay came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ahmet Göktuğ Ilıca. 2-0. A collision led to DEĞİRMENÖZÜ SK getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Leon Debkowski hit a great ball. When Ömer Tolgay came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the BJK İSTANBUL fans jumped to their feet. DEĞİRMENÖZÜ SK's Cahit Yalçın quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Recep Talha Osmanlı, made in the 24th minute of the game. 29 minutes into the match, DEĞİRMENÖZÜ SK's goal looked a bit too open when Recep Talha Osmanlı came free, but Ahmet Göktuğ Ilıca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ercan Şengil in the 36th minute of play forced DEĞİRMENÖZÜ SK's goalkeeper Ahmet Göktuğ Ilıca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 37 minutes, Erman Keçecioğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BJK İSTANBUL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erman Keçecioğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ömer Tolgay in the 41st minute of play forced DEĞİRMENÖZÜ SK's goalkeeper Ahmet Göktuğ Ilıca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in DEĞİRMENÖZÜ SK's zone, Ercan Şengil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Göktuğ Ilıca came out of the goal and Ercan Şengil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. BJK İSTANBUL's Gökçe Bozdağ got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anton Finnman made a kick off. Ahmet Sedat Ula recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. DEĞİRMENÖZÜ SK's Ahmet Göktuğ Ilıca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sezen Şahoğlu in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, DEĞİRMENÖZÜ SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ercan Şengil came free, but Ahmet Göktuğ Ilıca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DEĞİRMENÖZÜ SK's Leon Debkowski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gökçe Bozdağ in the 58 minute of the game. 59 minutes into the game, BJK İSTANBUL's Recep Talha Osmanlı nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmet Göktuğ Ilıca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 62 played minutes DEĞİRMENÖZÜ SK got a freekick which was hit by Sacit Kadrettin. Ahmet Göktuğ Ilıca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ömer Tolgay, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. BJK İSTANBUL's Sezen Şahoğlu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ant Yula, made in the 74th minute of the game. BJK İSTANBUL walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
