The supporters of Beydag booed when Görele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Halil Utku Argün didn't get a good kick on the ball. Görele's Orhan Muammer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zafer Oytun in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Görele getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Bican Semih hit a great ball. If Zafer Oytun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. Orhan Muammer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orhan Muammer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zafer Oytun, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zafer Oytun in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orhan Muammer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute, Ahmet Haşim Ruşeni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Derya Kuyas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Orhan Muammer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derya Kuyas in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vatan Aydıntan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Görele's goalkeeper Orhan Muammer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Derya Kuyas. Orhan Muammer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zafer Oytun in the 94th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Beydag players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
