Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Uluç Ağçelik took the kick off in the first half of the match. Kutalp Ülke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Karatay booed when Istinye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. İsmail Orhun Siddik didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Karatay's Yaser Başaydın got control of the ball when Baturay Tümel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Avni Zekai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Yaser Başaydın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Istinye's Seyfullah Ülgen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamer İzzet in the 19th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kamer İzzet in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Seyfullah Ülgen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Avni Zekai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Yaser Başaydın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Avni Zekai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yaser Başaydın having to interfere. Kutalp Ülke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. İstemihan İğdemir's late challenge caught a Istinye's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. İstemihan İğdemir helped the player get up and apologised. İstemihan İğdemir kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Görkem Cemşit was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Kutalp Ülke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Yaser Başaydın made a huge save. If Kamer İzzet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Avni Zekai to make the kick off. After 55 played minutes Karatay got a freekick which was hit by Uluç Ağçelik. 57 minutes into the game, Istinye's Kutalp Ülke nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yaser Başaydın made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Baturay Tümel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Istinye's Kutalp Ülke got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Istinye booed when Karatay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emrah Türünk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yaser Başaydın stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Avni Zekai's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. In the 72nd minute, Avni Zekai left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Istinye fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Avni Zekai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute Avni Zekai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yaser Başaydın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yaser Başaydın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avni Zekai in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Uluç Ağçelik recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Seyfullah Ülgen. Uluç Ağçelik showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. In the 91st match minute, Karatay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Refik Halit Tanırer to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Avni Zekai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Istinye's supporters rose to their feet, but Avni Zekai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yaser Başaydın breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Avni Zekai might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yaser Başaydın. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Avni Zekai ran back to his position shaking his head. Istinye walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
