Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mesopotamia's Samir Demiray started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harun Bayülgen in the 3rd minute of play forced Mesopotamia's goalkeeper Yaşar Nuri Şen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Altay Özsungur kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Cevdet Talaş kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. When Erdal Balım came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Söke SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erdal Balım couldn't finish the play. In the 11th minute, Bedih Adalı left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mesopotamia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Harun Bayülgen took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yaşar Nuri Şen. Yaşar Nuri Şen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Erdal Balım fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yaşar Nuri Şen having to interfere. Mesopotamia's Yaşar Nuri Şen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erdal Balım in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Erdal Balım notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Mesopotamia's Yaşar Nuri Şen. Yaşar Nuri Şen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Erdal Balım came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Söke SK fans jumped to their feet. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mesopotamia! With 68 minutes on the clock, Cevdet Talaş commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 67 minutes into the game, one of Mesopotamia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Erdal Balım recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mesopotamia's Yaşar Nuri Şen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Mesopotamia from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Harun Bayülgen took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Yaşar Nuri Şen to make any attempt to save it. Batuhan Demirağ took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yaşar Nuri Şen. Yaşar Nuri Şen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. Harun Bayülgen struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Yaşar Nuri Şen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Söke SK. Yaşar Nuri Şen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Batuhan Demirağ went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score. Erdal Balım received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Yaşar Nuri Şen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Mesopotamia's Yaşar Nuri Şen got control of the ball when Erdal Balım tried to sneak it across the goal line. Harun Bayülgen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yaşar Nuri Şen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Söke SK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
