Sümer Masum didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dragoş Logofătu went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Cevahir Palabıyık didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baykam Pekiner went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Alpay Hisar made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 24thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Cevahir Palabıyık would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Çağdaş Taykut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Inönü SK getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Mehmet Şefik Balcıoğlu hit a great ball. With a little luck, FC Manisa's Cevahir Palabıyık got control of the ball when Alpay Hisar tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th minute, Oktay Kaşif hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half FC Manisa were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Müslüm Öktem to strike the kick off in the second half. Moises Miliano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Sümer Masum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dragoş Logofătu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Sümer Masum made a huge save. In the 64th minute Ferman Güzir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sümer Masum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
