After 35 played minutes Beşiktaş FC got a freekick which was hit by Yağızhan Temel. 38 minutes into the match, Beşiktaş FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mete Ataner came free, but Kayhan Satıkbuğra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Beşiktaş FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Sakut Erduran hit a great ball. Kayhan Satıkbuğra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mete Ataner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 played minutes ORDUSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Batıhan Kırca. The supporters of ORDUSPOR booed when Beşiktaş FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sakut Erduran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mete Ataner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in ORDUSPOR's zone, Yağızhan Temel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fahrettin Bilgetürk came out of the goal and Yağızhan Temel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Esen Oğuzbala fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ORDUSPOR's protests and gave Esen Oğuzbala a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th minute, Esen Oğuzbala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Anıl Berk Savlet came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Beşiktaş FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anıl Berk Savlet couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute, Hayrettin Usberk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 68 minutes into the game, Beşiktaş FC's Anıl Berk Savlet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fahrettin Bilgetürk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. In the 75th minute, Yağızhan Temel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ORDUSPOR's Fahrettin Bilgetürk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save ORDUSPOR from getting a goal against them. If Anıl Berk Savlet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anıl Berk Savlet struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Fahrettin Bilgetürk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beşiktaş FC. Fahrettin Bilgetürk made an important save on a dangerous shot by İzzet Yörükoğlu in the 90th minute. Fahrettin Bilgetürk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anıl Berk Savlet in the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Beşiktaş FC were awarded a corner. Anıl Berk Savlet went to the cornerflag to take it. Beşiktaş FC's Hayrettin Usberk was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fahrettin Bilgetürk in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the final whistle sounded Beşiktaş FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ORDUSPOR.
