Beşir Sarıdoğan charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Beşir Sarıdoğan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hakkı Camcı blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Osman Urhan having to make a save. If Ahmet Reha Sehrud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th match minute, Kursunlu JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Burhanettin Sarıdoğan to maneuver through the defense. Cenap Binışık who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Baturay Özdoğan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 18th minute Soner Başbuğ shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osman Urhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kursunlu JK's Arif Burak Acunalp got a free kick in the 21st minute. The long shot by Seyfullah Dilhun in the 22nd minute really tested Baturay Özdoğan's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Osman Urhan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Soner Başbuğ's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Cenap Binışık recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hakkı Camcı during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Kursunlu JK getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Hakkı Camcı hit a great ball. Soner Başbuğ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osman Urhan having to interfere. Kursunlu JK's Burhanettin Sarıdoğan got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Kursunlu JK's Soner Başbuğ sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Osman Urhan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet Reha Sehrud made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Soner Başbuğ had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osman Urhan. KARAKARTAL JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Soner Başbuğ was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 56 played minutes Kursunlu JK got a freekick which was hit by Halit Orak. With 59 minutes on the clock, Ahmet Reha Bağcıoğlu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Soner Başbuğ's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Osman Urhan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Burhanettin Sarıdoğan in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osman Urhan saved KARAKARTAL JK from getting behind. Hakkı Camcı could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Osman Urhan made a huge save. Burhanettin Sarıdoğan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osman Urhan having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Soner Başbuğ got free with Osman Urhan in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th minute, Burhanettin Sarıdoğan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Osman Urhan. The goal made the score 0-4. Cenap Binışık's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baturay Özdoğan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Burhanettin Sarıdoğan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Osman Urhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Burhanettin Sarıdoğan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Osman Urhan was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
