Yüksel Sezgen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 23 minutes into the game, Gonsalve Gabas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Yüksel Sezgen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A nice corner shot did that Kamil Kılınç got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Yüksel Sezgen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 29th minute, Bayındır Mehmet Tarkan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hayrabolu Gençlik SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After 31 minutes, İsrafil Ünlüsoy mouthed his way into the referee's book. Slawomir Mitus struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Yüksel Sezgen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hayrabolu Gençlik SK. Bayındır Mehmet Tarkan in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Yüksel Sezgen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
