Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Lemi İklim made the kick off and thus started the match. After 6 minutes of play, Bogazkale's Mustafa Numan Ülgü made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Muhsin Koray was left in no man's land by his defense there! 10 minutes into the match, GÖZTEPE's goalkeeper Muhsin Koray had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mustafa Numan Ülgü. Ergin Karlukhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bayındır Mehmet Çavas in the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Lemi İklim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ergin Karlukhan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Mustafa Numan Ülgü had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sabri Tutku received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Muhsin Koray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sabri Tutku's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Muhsin Koray skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 42 played minutes GÖZTEPE got a freekick which was hit by Selahaddin Ünan. Muhsin Koray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabri Tutku in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sabri Tutku to make the kick off. Sabri Tutku sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Muhsin Koray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cihat Kebir, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Bogazkale's Sabri Tutku got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mustafa Numan Ülgü fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muhsin Koray having to interfere. Muhsin Koray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Numan Ülgü in the 61st minute of play. Bogazkale's Sabri Tutku got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 70 played minutes Bogazkale got a freekick which was hit by Cihat Kebir. In the 71st minute, Cem Baysungur sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bogazkale's Ergin Karlukhan didn't even have to move. If Bayındır Mehmet Çavas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulaş Muhtar during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Ulaş Muhtar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 played minutes GÖZTEPE got a freekick which was hit by Özkan Dağdelen. In the 85th minute of the match Tunç Serir sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Muhsin Koray skillfully saved the ball. In the 87th minute, Sabri Tutku got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mustafa Numan Ülgü took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Muhsin Koray. Muhsin Koray dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. If Bayındır Mehmet Çavas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Bogazkale were the better team. Bogazkale's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
