Ayberk Nefer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kizilay. Ayberk Nefer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fazıl Hüsnü İlsev's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Necdet Elmastaş hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Reşat Şemseddin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Babür Talaykan having to interfere. Kizilay's Babür Talaykan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Kizilay from getting a goal against them. 23 minutes into the match, Kizilay's goal looked a bit too open when Niyazi Borlu came free, but Babür Talaykan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kizilay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Niyazi Borlu scored to the left of an out of position Babür Talaykan, making the score, 1-0. Niyazi Borlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fazıl Hüsnü İlsev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ayberk Nefer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neşat Şirzat in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Kizilay's Fazıl Hüsnü İlsev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ayberk Nefer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 45th play minute Reşat Şemseddin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Babür Talaykan. 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Niyazi Borlu made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Fazıl Hüsnü İlsev made a precise shot to the right of Ayberk Nefer. Gelibolu SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 58 minutes into the match, Kizilay's goal looked a bit too open when Reşat Şemseddin came free, but Babür Talaykan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 62 played minutes Gelibolu SK got a freekick which was hit by Mirza Akatay. In the 66th minute, Neşat Şirzat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 69 played minutes Gelibolu SK got a freekick which was hit by Kılıçhan Necaettin. Kizilay's Babür Talaykan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niyazi Borlu in the 73rd minute of play. Neşat Şirzat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the game, Ahmet Danış Tayyip was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gelibolu SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kizilay the free kick. 77 minutes into the game, one of Gelibolu SK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Necdet Elmastaş shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Fazıl Hüsnü İlsev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ayberk Nefer didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Kizilay's Fazıl Hüsnü İlsev shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-3 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gelibolu SK's goalkeeper Ayberk Nefer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 97 minutes into the match, Gelibolu SK's goal looked a bit too open when Neşat Şirzat came free, but Ayberk Nefer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
