Kütahyaspor's Bora Civanbaht proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Kütahyaspor from getting a goal against them. Bora Civanbaht made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Tugay Dokuzoğlu in the 9th minute of play. Necip Fazıl Usalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şentürk Ongay having to interfere. Gürel Saadettin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Bora Civanbaht made a huge save. When Rıfkı Sezginay, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 14 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Bora Civanbaht was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. A collision led to Kütahyaspor getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Atilla Kağan Tuner hit a great ball. Öztürk Tekcan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 18th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 20th minute, Güner İksir left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kütahyaspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Güner İksir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rıfkı Sezginay couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Gürel Saadettin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bora Civanbaht was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Atilla Kağan Tuner hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Kütahyaspor's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 88th minute of the game, when Yusuf Ziya Tuluk after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Melo spor's goal. Yusuf Ziya Tuluk was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Melo spor were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
