The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Güneş Dindar during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 3 played minutes LİONHEARTED got a freekick which was hit by Güneş Dindar. Tan Fişek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Güneş Dindar, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. If Ercole Gabriele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kamber Özkar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şenol Karakaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Cengiz Suersan notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Karabükspor's Tan Fişek. Tan Fişek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 19 minutes into the game, Cengiz Suersan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Tan Fişek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 26th minute of the match Balamir Kurhan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kamber Özkar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cengiz Suersan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tan Fişek having to interfere. Kamber Özkar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bumin Sarif in the 30th minute. Kamber Özkar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şenol Karakaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kamber Özkar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Şenol Karakaya went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 35 minutes into the match, LİONHEARTED's goal looked a bit too open when Şenol Karakaya came free, but Kamber Özkar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 38 minutes, Ercole Gabriele managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LİONHEARTED's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ercole Gabriele was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Güneş Dindar in the 40th minute of play forced Karabükspor's goalkeeper Tan Fişek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute, Ercole Gabriele got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute of the match Güral Çağar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tan Fişek showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

In the 88th minute Bumin Sarif shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamber Özkar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Güneş Dindar came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the LİONHEARTED fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Güneş Dindar couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute, LİONHEARTED's Ercole Gabriele dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. When the match was over LİONHEARTED could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Karabükspor throughout the match.
