Hidayet Cemre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Oğuz Bozoğlu having to interfere. Kutalp Sebil struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Arif Oğuz Bozoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sivas FK. Nejat Alp Kadim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emir Özbir having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Nejat Alp Kadim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute, Kutalp Sebil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Nejat Alp Kadim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kutalp Sebil was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Sivas FK booed when Gerede FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doğaner Dilhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ali Nejat İnanoğlu hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Mümin İlseven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Emir Özbir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Nejat Alp Kadim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emir Özbir was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Sivas FK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Nejat Alp Kadim scored to the left of an out of position Emir Özbir, making the score, 0-2. A collision led to Gerede FK getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Mümin İlseven hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Sivas FK's Hidayet Cemre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arif Oğuz Bozoğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emir Özbir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nejat Alp Kadim in the 84th minute of the match. Arif Oğuz Bozoğlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hidayet Cemre went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Arif Oğuz Bozoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kutalp Sebil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Sivas FK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gerede FK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
