Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Ataköy's Şimşek Okutman got a free kick in the 5th minute. Nebi Oğuzhan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Macit Tandan. Ataköy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Şimşek Okutman fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ataköy's protests and gave Şimşek Okutman a yellow card for diving instead. Orhan Veli Eyüpoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Macit Tandan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Zülfikar Uzhan came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Ataköy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zülfikar Uzhan couldn't finish the play. In the 14th minute, Orhan Veli Eyüpoğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fenerbahçe SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After recieving a nice pass, Ataköy's Sermet Murtaza tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ecevit Arınç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Macit Tandan having to interfere. Ecevit Arınç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Orhan Veli Eyüpoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Ataköy:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fenerbahçe SK:s goal. Nebi Oğuzhan shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Ecevit Arınç managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fenerbahçe SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ecevit Arınç was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Macit Tandan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ecevit Arınç to make the kick off. Ecevit Arınç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Orhan Veli Eyüpoğlu struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Macit Tandan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fenerbahçe SK. Orhan Veli Eyüpoğlu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Macit Tandan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Atalay Şen scored 1-1 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ludomil Nowakowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zülfikar Uzhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ludomil Nowakowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ludomil Nowakowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zülfikar Uzhan's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. If Ecevit Arınç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecevit Arınç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Macit Tandan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Rıza Esraf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ataköy's Macit Tandan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Ataköy from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Ataköy's Macit Tandan got control of the ball when Orhan Veli Eyüpoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecevit Arınç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ecevit Arınç in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Macit Tandan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Orhan Veli Eyüpoğlu made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 89thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Macit Tandan would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 93rd minute of the match Fenerbahçe SK got a corner. Ataköy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nebi Oğuzhan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fenerbahçe SK's Ahmet Ali Cihaner was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Macit Tandan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ecevit Arınç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Macit Tandan having to interfere.
