Varol Akasma hit a great ball. When Varol Akasma was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 16 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Akcaabat's Varol Akasma got a free kick in the 16th minute. Aktuğ Buyrukalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kudret Özertan having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Akcaabat's goal looked a bit too open when Hayrullah Onursev came free, but Kudret Özertan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for 1968 DIYARBAKIR FC. Aktuğ Buyrukalp stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kudret Özertan. 1-1. Baran Alp Uğursan's late challenge caught a 1968 DIYARBAKIR FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and İbrahim Uluerkan made a kick off. Kudret Özertan came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by 1968 DIYARBAKIR FC's Özdemir Hurmacı. But to his dismay, Özdemir Hurmacı quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Akcaabat's Kudret Özertan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özdemir Hurmacı in the 59th minute of play. With a little luck, Akcaabat's Kudret Özertan got control of the ball when Aktuğ Buyrukalp tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by İbrahim Uluerkan in the 61st minute of play forced 1968 DIYARBAKIR FC's goalkeeper Melquiades Guillen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Aktuğ Buyrukalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kudret Özertan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özdemir Hurmacı in the 88th minute of play. Aktuğ Buyrukalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Kudret Özertan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Özdemir Hurmacı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 92nd minute, Aktuğ Buyrukalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Akcaabat fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. 1968 DIYARBAKIR FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
