Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kıvanç İsmail to make the kick off. Sami Gerdaneri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efe Derinöz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kocasinan FK's Efe Derinöz got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Efe Derinöz in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sami Gerdaneri saved ESKİŞEHİR SK from getting behind. In the 57th minute, Kamuran Mecnun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Kocasinan FK's Kıvanç İsmail in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ESKİŞEHİR SK's goalie prevented a goal. Kıvanç İsmail fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sami Gerdaneri having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Efe Derinöz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sami Gerdaneri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ESKİŞEHİR SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ESKİŞEHİR SK's zone, Efe Derinöz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sami Gerdaneri came out of the goal and Efe Derinöz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ESKİŞEHİR SK's Sami Gerdaneri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kıvanç İsmail in the 73rd minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, ESKİŞEHİR SK's goal looked a bit too open when Efe Derinöz came free, but Sami Gerdaneri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ESKİŞEHİR SK's Sami Gerdaneri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efe Derinöz in the 81st minute of play. When Efe Derinöz came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Kocasinan FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efe Derinöz couldn't finish the play. Sami Gerdaneri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efe Derinöz in the 88th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Aral İmruz made a precise shot to the right of Sami Gerdaneri. ESKİŞEHİR SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 94 played minutes ESKİŞEHİR SK got a freekick which was hit by Oğuz Ungan. Efe Derinöz struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Sami Gerdaneri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kocasinan FK. Kocasinan FK were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
