After 7 played minutes Akcaabat got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Baki Olguner. Bahtiyar Sadak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seyfettin Hataylı having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reşat Hinoğlu in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alim Ülkem saved Bursa from getting behind. Ahmet Göktuğ Yaşar hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bumin Şenyurt in the 25th minute of play forced Bursa's goalkeeper Alim Ülkem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Akcaabat's zone, Bahtiyar Sadak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Seyfettin Hataylı came out of the goal and Bahtiyar Sadak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reşat Hinoğlu hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Bumin Şenyurt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alim Ülkem having to interfere. Bahtiyar Sadak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Seyfettin Hataylı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Afşar Sara was the one to do the kick off. Bumin Şenyurt in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alim Ülkem, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Bumin Şenyurt came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Akcaabat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bumin Şenyurt couldn't finish the play. Alim Ülkem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afşar Sara, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Akcaabat's Bumin Şenyurt got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nurkan Yücetekin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Seyfettin Hataylı having to make a save. Akcaabat's Seyfettin Hataylı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bahtiyar Sadak in the 71st minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, one of Bursa:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bumin Şenyurt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Afşar Sara got free with Alim Ülkem in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Alim Ülkem managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Akcaabat's Bumin Şenyurt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Ahmet Göktuğ Yaşar fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bursa's protests and gave Ahmet Göktuğ Yaşar a yellow card for diving instead. Ahmet Göktuğ Yaşar kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Alim Ülkem made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Bumin Şenyurt sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute Bahtiyar Sadak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seyfettin Hataylı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Afşar Sara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bumin Şenyurt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alim Ülkem having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
