In the 7th match minute, Olympos JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halil İbrahim Erdemir to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by İsa Akalın in the 7th minute really tested Edip Baykam's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 10 minutes into the match, Olympos JK's goal looked a bit too open when Özgün Atlıoğlu came free, but Edip Baykam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Özgün Atlıoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edip Baykam having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Enginalp Masum had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edip Baykam. Olympos JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enginalp Masum was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Olympos JK's zone, Özgün Atlıoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edip Baykam came out of the goal and Özgün Atlıoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edip Baykam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özgün Atlıoğlu in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute of the match, Özgün Atlıoğlu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edip Baykam saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 33 minutes into the match, Almus's goal looked a bit too open when Batuhan Onurhan came free, but Aykutalp Onursu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Batuhan Onurhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Aykutalp Onursu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Almus defense, Batuhan Onurhan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aykutalp Onursu. The Almus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aykutalp Onursu should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Almus's Zafer Acarbay got a free kick in the 45th minute. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Almus's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Refik Halit Tümer was slow to take the kick. During this time Olympos JK's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Olympos JK's corner Refik Halit Tümer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aykutalp Onursu quite easily take care of the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Batuhan Onurhan was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Batuhan Onurhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aykutalp Onursu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Olympos JK's goalie and right to Ali Erdem Durusan. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Olympos JK's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After having played for 61 minutes, Özgün Atlıoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Özgün Atlıoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edip Baykam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özgün Atlıoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, Batuhan Onurhan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aykutalp Onursu. The goal made the score 1-2. Özgün Atlıoğlu struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Edip Baykam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almus. Özgün Atlıoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edip Baykam read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kerim Darga in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aykutalp Onursu saved Almus from getting behind. Kerim Darga struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Aykutalp Onursu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olympos JK. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mehmet Anıl Beyazit during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
