When Lefter Hisarcık fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lüleburgaz's protests and gave Lefter Hisarcık a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Overwhelming Gladiator booed when Lüleburgaz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lefter Hisarcık didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Osman Nuri Orgun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lüleburgaz's Osman Nuri Orgun in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Overwhelming Gladiator's goalie prevented a goal. After 16 played minutes Overwhelming Gladiator got a freekick which was hit by Ruhi Vargın. When Cemil Yağınalp came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Lüleburgaz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cemil Yağınalp couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cemil Yağınalp in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Şafak Aytuğ prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Osman Nuri Orgun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Osman Nuri Orgun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Şafak Aytuğ having to make a save. If Cemil Yağınalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Osman Nuri Orgun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hamit Derviş hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Cemil Yağınalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Tamer Şevki made the kick off in the second half. In the last second Şafak Aytuğ throw himself and got hold of the ball when Cemil Yağınalp in the 51stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After having played for 54 minutes, Cemil Yağınalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lüleburgaz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cemil Yağınalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Overwhelming Gladiator's Şafak Aytuğ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cemil Yağınalp in the 55th minute of play. After 58 minutes, Ruhi Vargın mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Overwhelming Gladiator and the Lüleburgaz players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th match minute, Overwhelming Gladiator was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruhi Vargın to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Osman Nuri Orgun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lüleburgaz's supporters rose to their feet, but Osman Nuri Orgun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şafak Aytuğ breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Lüleburgaz getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Lütfullah Boyraz hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Overwhelming Gladiator's Olgun Ünlüer tried to score from far away in the 64th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Overwhelming Gladiator's Gökcan Sıbgatullah sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hayrullah Vefi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lüleburgaz's Cemil Yağınalp got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Cemil Yağınalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lüleburgaz's supporters rose to their feet, but Cemil Yağınalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 84th minute, Overwhelming Gladiator's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cemil Yağınalp fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cemil Yağınalp might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Şafak Aytuğ. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cemil Yağınalp ran back to his position shaking his head. The Overwhelming Gladiator fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lüleburgaz were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
