Lütfi Şengil charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lütfi Şengil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lütfi Şengil kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Mecitözü's goal looked a bit too open when Dinçer Uçkun came free, but Mecnun Ongay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mecnun Ongay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinçer Uçkun, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 30 played minutes Sancarbey Alanson rounded Heybeliada's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Mecnun Ongay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lütfi Şengil in the 41st minute of play. Mecnun Ongay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lütfi Şengil, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Necip Fazıl Mengü showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baysal Sunguralp, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Mecitözü's Mecnun Ongay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lütfi Şengil in the 53rd minute of play. Mecnun Ongay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinçer Uçkun in the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Sancarbey Alanson made a precise shot to the right of Necip Fazıl Mengü. Heybeliada's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. The supporters of Mecitözü booed when Heybeliada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nazil Kemalettin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Sancarbey Alanson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Necip Fazıl Mengü was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 69 played minutes Mecitözü got a freekick which was hit by Baysal Sunguralp. 71 minutes into the match, Heybeliada's goal looked a bit too open when Baysal Sunguralp came free, but Necip Fazıl Mengü reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Necip Fazıl Mengü came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mecitözü's Sancarbey Alanson. But to his dismay, Sancarbey Alanson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After 78 played minutes Mecitözü got a freekick which was hit by Baysal Sunguralp. Mecnun Ongay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mahmut Ergül, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gökmen Tanyeri scored 7-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Necip Fazıl Mengü, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Mecitözü's Sancarbey Alanson, in the 88th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Mecitözü. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gökmen Tanyeri in the 91st minute of play forced Heybeliada's goalkeeper Necip Fazıl Mengü to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lütfi Şengil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Mecnun Ongay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mecitözü had played much better football throughout.
