Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when İslam Nizam took the kick off in the first half of the match. İslam Nizam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gökhan Bozoğlu having to interfere. Bora Han Özyay came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Refahiye SK's Arif Cengiz Timurtas. But to his dismay, Arif Cengiz Timurtas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 18 minutes into the game, Bahattin Talat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Refahiye SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karsiyaka FK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Refahiye SK's Bahattin Talat got a free kick in the 18th minute. Ali Galip Akyel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bora Han Özyay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 29th minute, İslam Nizam fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Refahiye SK's Gökhan Bozoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İslam Nizam in the 30th minute of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Ali Galip Akyel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Refahiye SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Galip Akyel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If İslam Nizam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hakkı Deniz Özben got free with Gökhan Bozoğlu in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arif Cengiz Timurtas to strike the kick off in the second half. Karsiyaka FK's Bora Han Özyay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Karsiyaka FK from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute of the match, Arif Cengiz Timurtas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bora Han Özyay saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If İslam Nizam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ali Galip Akyel, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 74 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Bora Han Özyay was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 76th minute İslam Nizam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gökhan Bozoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Ali Galip Akyel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bora Han Özyay was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After having played for 86 minutes, Arif Cengiz Timurtas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Refahiye SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arif Cengiz Timurtas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hakkı Deniz Özben sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Refahiye SK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
