Ahmet Emir Saltar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ulvi Samet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Emir Saltar having to interfere. Sinopspor's Ragıp Aras came free and shot a quick shot against goal 38 minutes in the game, fortunately Lokman Eygül had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 40th minute Ragıp Aras suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. When Yusuf İpek fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hemsin JK's protests and gave Yusuf İpek a yellow card for diving instead. Sinopspor's Yusuf Tefhim was substituted for Ragıp Aras. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
