In the 14th minute, Celestino Senio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Behzat Çelikel got free with Jácint Vásárhelyi in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. sandıklı jk's Jácint Vásárhelyi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yavuz Selim Usalp in the 22nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Ali Behzat Çelikel could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Jácint Vásárhelyi however easily saved by the left post. İlhan İmruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güray Zakir having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Ahmet Vefik Mensur notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Şark Gençlik SK's Güray Zakir. Güray Zakir was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ali Behzat Çelikel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jácint Vásárhelyi having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell İlkan Özdal to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in sandıklı jk's zone, Yavuz Selim Usalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jácint Vásárhelyi came out of the goal and Yavuz Selim Usalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jácint Vásárhelyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yavuz Selim Usalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. When Celestino Senio fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored sandıklı jk's protests and gave Celestino Senio a yellow card for diving instead. Celestino Senio hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After 68 played minutes sandıklı jk got a freekick which was hit by İlhan İmruz. Şark Gençlik SK's Yavuz Selim Usalp got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Semi Şanalp kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. When Yavuz Selim Usalp came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Şark Gençlik SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yavuz Selim Usalp couldn't finish the play. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for sandıklı jk! Akgün Özsel scored 2-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jácint Vásárhelyi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. İlhan İmruz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Güray Zakir read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Şark Gençlik SK's goalkeeper Güray Zakir, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Güray Zakir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İlkan Özdal, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Güray Zakir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İlkan Özdal in the 96th minute of the match. İlkan Özdal might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Güray Zakir. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. İlkan Özdal ran back to his position shaking his head. Güray Zakir made a fantastic save in the 99th minute, when Ahmet Vefik Mensur sent off a good shot on target. Many of sandıklı jk's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. sandıklı jk may have spent more time on the ball, but Şark Gençlik SK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
