Ahmet Hasan Balatekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saruhan Yeten in the 9th minute of the match. The supporters of Oltu booed when Batman Petrolspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yaşar Akoğul didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saruhan Yeten in the 12th minute of play forced Batman Petrolspor's goalkeeper Ahmet Hasan Balatekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Hasan Balatekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saruhan Yeten in the 13th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Saruhan Yeten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Hasan Balatekin was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. A beautiful save bye Batman Petrolspor's goalie prevented a goal. 45 minutes into the match, Batman Petrolspor's goal looked a bit too open when Utkan Kutal came free, but Ahmet Hasan Balatekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Batman Petrolspor's Ahmet Hasan Balatekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Utkan Kutal in the 46th minute of play. After 47 minutes, Halil İbrahim Ülker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Batman Petrolspor and the Oltu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Halil İbrahim Ülker hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half Oltu were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute, Göktürk Geylani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 55 played minutes Batman Petrolspor got a freekick which was hit by Vural Tanay. Ahmet Hasan Balatekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saruhan Yeten in the 61st minute of play. Yaşar Akoğul's late challenge caught a Oltu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yaşar Akoğul helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Oltu booed when Batman Petrolspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Hasan Balatekin came out of the goal and Utkan Kutal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Utkan Kutal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oltu's supporters rose to their feet, but Utkan Kutal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Hasan Balatekin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oltu's Saruhan Yeten got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Oltu's goalkeeper Nebi Sabuncuoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nebi Sabuncuoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göktürk Geylani in the 84th minute of the match. When Göktürk Geylani came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Batman Petrolspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Göktürk Geylani couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Utkan Kutal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 91st match minute, Batman Petrolspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gani Turcan to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute of the match Yılmaz Yazgan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Hasan Balatekin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nebi Sabuncuoğlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Şeray Dirayet went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Oltu eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
