In the 42nd match minute, Süleoglu SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Utku Neval to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alkan Yanar in the 46th minute of play forced Süleoglu SK's goalkeeper İlhami Safir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Süleoglu SK's goal looked a bit too open when Gencal Özoğuz came free, but İlhami Safir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After 58 played minutes Süleoglu SK got a freekick which was hit by Lütfi Okanalp. Şahin Zoral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aybar Yalavaç in the 61st minute. Süleoglu SK's Ali Nejat Ersunal got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Alkan Yanar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute, Hilvan's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lütfi Okanalp fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, Hilvan's Şahin Zoral got control of the ball when Aybar Yalavaç tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aybar Yalavaç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute, Lütfi Okanalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Şahin Zoral made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Aybar Yalavaç sent off a good shot on target. 88 minutes into the match, Ali Nejat Ersunal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Şahin Zoral, 0-2. Lütfi Okanalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
