An unexpectedly hard shot by Necaettin İlke in the 14th minute of play forced Özgüzeldere JK's goalkeeper Nazım Uluöz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caglayan JK's Alim Durkaya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Caglayan JK from getting a goal against them. Ahmet Hasan Cevizci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alim Durkaya having to interfere. Göksel Şahsuvaroğlu struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Nazım Uluöz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caglayan JK. 37 minutes into the match, Caglayan JK's goal looked a bit too open when Kamuran Topel came free, but Alim Durkaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 minutes, Vacid İşçen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caglayan JK and the Özgüzeldere JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Caglayan JK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! Ahmet Hasan Cevizci in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alim Durkaya, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Kamuran Topel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Caglayan JK getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Demirhan Ciner hit a great ball. Çağatay Ergüder took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alim Durkaya. Caglayan JK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kamuran Topel to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Özcan Lema cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Alim Durkaya was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 73rd minute Ahmet Hasan Cevizci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alim Durkaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Özgüzeldere JK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
