After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Ayhan Mürşit managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ayvacik's supporters rose to their feet, but Ayhan Mürşit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niyazi Sabit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cuma Servet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niyazi Sabit having to interfere. The shot was a little too simple and Niyazi Sabit could save by the left post. In the 39th minute, Cuma Servet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Rauf Tekgül had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
