If Uğur Çelebioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Çorluspor 1947's Dinçer Özdoğal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Gündüz Özkutlu in the 24th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as KaraKartal's Ferman Sönmez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dinçer Özdoğal. That made the score 1-1 after 32 minutes of play. Çorluspor 1947's Arif Memduh Akdemir got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Uğur Çelebioğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Çorluspor 1947's supporters rose to their feet, but Uğur Çelebioğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Utkan Sadik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 42 minutes into the match, KaraKartal's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Hakkı Yolaç came free, but Utkan Sadik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute of the match Uğur Çelebioğlu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Utkan Sadik showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Uğur Çelebioğlu came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Çorluspor 1947 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uğur Çelebioğlu couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Seyfullah Cemşit to make the kick off. Arif Memduh Akdemir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Utkan Sadik made a huge save. In the 54th match minute, Çorluspor 1947 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uğur Çelebioğlu to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th match minute, KaraKartal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asım Sonay to maneuver through the defense. Arif Memduh Akdemir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Utkan Sadik having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arif Memduh Akdemir in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Utkan Sadik saved KaraKartal from getting behind. In the 73rd match minute, KaraKartal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferman Sönmez to maneuver through the defense. Abay Akkanoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 80 minutes of play, KaraKartal's Seyfullah Cemşit made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dinçer Özdoğal was left in no man's land by his defense there! KaraKartal's Utkan Sadik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save KaraKartal from getting a goal against them. Mehmet Hakkı Yolaç struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Utkan Sadik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Çorluspor 1947. Utkan Sadik was a little too slow when Arif Memduh Akdemir got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 2-2. Çorluspor 1947 were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
