Oktay Türegün took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aycan Battal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Şenol Cintay hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Oktay Türegün made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bayram Onsoy in the 31st minute. After having played for 32 minutes, Aycan Battal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laleli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aycan Battal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aycan Battal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Oktay Türegün tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Behçet Bayman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Ali Bekata in the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Aycan Battal made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mustafa Ali Bekata got free with Behçet Bayman in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Laleli getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Baybars Uçur hit a great ball. Nusret Safvetullah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nusret Safvetullah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aycan Battal in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oktay Türegün saved Yazihan from getting behind. Oktay Türegün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aycan Battal in the 69th minute of play. After 72 minutes of play, Laleli's Aycan Battal made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oktay Türegün was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Nusret Safvetullah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Yazihan's goal looked a bit too open when Aycan Battal came free, but Oktay Türegün reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
