Mustafa Ali Bekatas short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Korkut Harmancı to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Esentepe getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Abdulbaki Beykan hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Yazihan's Nusret Safvetullah slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Korkut Harmancı. That made the score 1-0 after 23 minutes of play. Abdulbaki Beykan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Oktay Türegün tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Mustafa Ali Bekata managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yazihan's supporters rose to their feet, but Mustafa Ali Bekata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Korkut Harmancı breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd of the match, Nusret Safvetullah tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Korkut Harmancı got in the way and made a wonderful save. Korkut Harmancı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gündüz Sanal in the 35th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Mustafa Ali Bekata kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Korkut Harmancı. That made the score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Şenol Cintay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yazihan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esentepe the free kick. A collision led to Yazihan getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Şenol Cintay hit a great ball. Korkut Harmancı made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Şenol Cintay sent off a good shot on target.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abdulbaki Beykan to strike the kick off in the second half. Nusret Safvetullah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mustafa Ali Bekata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Korkut Harmancı having to interfere. A collision led to Esentepe getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Selahaddin Ayçetin hit a great ball. Şenol Cintay hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. If Abdulbaki Beykan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mustafa Ali Bekata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70thth minute of the game Nusret Safvetullah who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esentepe's Korkut Harmancı was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mustafa Ali Bekata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 79 minutes into the match, Yazihan's Nusret Safvetullah sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Korkut Harmancı narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mustafa Ali Bekata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Nusret Safvetullah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Şenol Cintay struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Korkut Harmancı didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yazihan.
