Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) Emirdag's Afşin Baysungur started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. TRABZONSPOR's Vecdet Perva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamil Taçyıldız in the 5th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in TRABZONSPOR fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Emirdag a penalty, 9 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ahmet Kutsi Peyam, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of TRABZONSPOR's Vecdet Perva. 0-1. Vecdet Perva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oğuz Ceberut in the 12th minute of play. When Afşin Baysungur came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Emirdag fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afşin Baysungur couldn't finish the play. Vecdet Perva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Semi Özdinçer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afşin Baysungur scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vecdet Perva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 25th minute Afşin Baysungur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vecdet Perva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vecdet Perva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oğuz Ceberut in the 28th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Emirdag's Gökhan Tura got a free kick in the 29th minute. Vecdet Perva came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Emirdag's Afşin Baysungur. But to his dismay, Afşin Baysungur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Kamil Taçyıldız kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kamuran Çidam got free with Önder Özerman in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vecdet Perva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afşin Baysungur in the 39th minute of play. If Gökhan Tura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afşin Baysungur in the 44th minute of play forced TRABZONSPOR's goalkeeper Vecdet Perva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, TRABZONSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Semi Özdinçer came free, but Vecdet Perva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

51 minutes into the match, Afşin Baysungur dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vecdet Perva, 0-4. Vecdet Perva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afşin Baysungur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kamuran Çidam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Oğuz Ceberut dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vecdet Perva, 0-5. In the 86th minute, Kamuran Çidam left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TRABZONSPOR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Kamuran Çidam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Önder Özerman having to interfere. Kamil Taçyıldız sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
