Altay SK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Neşat Rasif scored to the left of an out of position Genco Atasagun, making the score, 1-0. Kutluay Özalpman struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Genco Atasagun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kocarli. In the 23rd match minute, Kocarli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yusuf Ziya Kökten to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Altay SK's Uğurcan Çolak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mehmet Edip Mecit narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Neşat Rasif's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Genco Atasagun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Uğurcan Çolak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Mehmet Edip Mecit was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mehmet Edip Mecit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uğurcan Çolak in the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uğurcan Çolak in the 32nd minute of play forced Kocarli's goalkeeper Mehmet Edip Mecit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Altay SK's Başaran Aktemur got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute Başaran Aktemur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Edip Mecit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Genco Atasagun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neşat Rasif, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Doğukan Özaltuğ hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 51st minute, Uğurcan Çolak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Neşat Rasif recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uğurcan Çolak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Edip Mecit having to interfere. Başaran Aktemur struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Mehmet Edip Mecit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Altay SK. Başaran Aktemur might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mehmet Edip Mecit. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Başaran Aktemur ran back to his position shaking his head. 79 minutes into the match, Altay SK's goal looked a bit too open when Neşat Rasif came free, but Genco Atasagun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Kutluay Özalpman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Genco Atasagun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 87 minutes into the match, Altay SK's goal looked a bit too open when Kutluay Özalpman came free, but Genco Atasagun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Genco Atasagun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neşat Rasif in the 89th minute of play. Uğurcan Çolak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kocarli's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
