Baycan Vecdi hit a great ball. 4 minutes into the game, Kesan's Acun Rekin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. İzzet Karun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The BAFRASPOR fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when BAFRASPOR's Ahmet Korcan Derman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 9 played minutes BAFRASPOR got a freekick which was hit by Baycan Vecdi. Acun Rekin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but İzzet Karun made a huge save. BAFRASPOR's İzzet Karun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ercüment Seçkiner in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Kesan's goal looked a bit too open when Okanay Seccac came free, but Şerafettin Berin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ayhan Çakmur hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The supporters of Kesan booed when BAFRASPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. İlhami Onsoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. İzzet Karun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ayhan Çakmur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. İlhami Onsoy kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Acun Rekin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but İzzet Karun made a huge save. If Kuddusî Özduru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Korcan Derman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Şerafettin Berin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Korcan Derman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Kuddusî Özduru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Şerafettin Berin was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Kuddusî Özduru struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Şerafettin Berin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BAFRASPOR.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ercüment Seçkiner made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Korcan Derman in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Şerafettin Berin saved Kesan from getting behind. In the 56th minute, Ahmet Korcan Derman fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Kesan's zone, Kuddusî Özduru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şerafettin Berin came out of the goal and Kuddusî Özduru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute Ahmet Korcan Derman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şerafettin Berin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, BAFRASPOR's Şerafettin Berin threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ahmet Korcan Derman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 64th play minutes Kuddusî Özduru shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Şerafettin Berin and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 71st match minute, BAFRASPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baycan Vecdi to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute of the match, Ahmet Korcan Derman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Şerafettin Berin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Şerafettin Berin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İlhami Onsoy in the 79th minute of the match. Hulusi Nasih could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Şerafettin Berin made a huge save. A collision led to Kesan getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ayhan Çakmur hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Kuddusî Özduru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Kuddusî Özduru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Ahmet Korcan Derman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Şerafettin Berin. That made the score 1-5 in the 90 minute of play. İlhami Onsoy's late challenge caught a Kesan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. İlhami Onsoy helped the player get up and apologised. BAFRASPOR played a much better game than Kesan and deserved their victory. The Kesan players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
