The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 6 minutes, Oğuzer Eryiğit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DEMİR FIRTINA S.K.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Oğuzer Eryiğit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arif Memduh Hicran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Servet Kenan, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Servet Kenan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. DEMİR FIRTINA S.K. were furious when Aras Sanbay was red carded, 14 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 13th minute, one of DEMİR FIRTINA S.K.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for DEMİR FIRTINA S.K.. DEMİR FIRTINA S.K.:s Arif Memduh Hicran showed great skill when he stopped Baturay Öz:s penalty. Servet Kenan hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gencay Refet got free with Azmi Oksar in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A nice corner shot did that Ömür Kılıçalp got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Azmi Oksar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Azmi Oksar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oğuzer Eryiğit, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Can Orbay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arif Memduh Hicran. DEMİR FIRTINA S.K.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Can Orbay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. DEMİR FIRTINA S.K.'s Oğuzer Eryiğit was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 36th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 40 minutes of play, DEMİR FIRTINA S.K.'s Alfons Kjellqvist made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Azmi Oksar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oğuzer Eryiğit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the game, Gencay Refet recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Azmi Oksar. Gencay Refet showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The supporters of DEMİR FIRTINA S.K. booed when Lamerovski was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berkay Rafih didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ömür Kılıçalp came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the DEMİR FIRTINA S.K. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ömür Kılıçalp couldn't finish the play. Alfons Kjellqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute, Oğuzer Eryiğit ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Azmi Oksar was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Kadir Seyhun charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kadir Seyhun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Lamerovski getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Kadir Seyhun hit a great ball. Servet Kenan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Arif Memduh Hicran made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Lamerovski's zone, Gencay Refet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Azmi Oksar came out of the goal and Gencay Refet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Oğuzer Eryiğit sped through Lamerovski's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Azmi Oksar. If Gencay Refet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Lamerovski defense, Oğuzer Eryiğit kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Azmi Oksar. The Lamerovski fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Azmi Oksar should have stopped the shot. If Oğuzer Eryiğit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. İldeniz Nesefi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Azmi Oksar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. DEMİR FIRTINA S.K. had played much better football throughout.
