Dündar Onbulak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sabit Kutlucan's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Dündar Onbulak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şafak Kınay, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Dündar Onbulak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şafak Kınay in the 11th minute of the match. The supporters of Ultraslan booed when Side was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. İzzet Kırdar didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Güvenç İmamoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ultraslan's protests and gave Güvenç İmamoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. Ali Haydar Tolgahan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andaç Haneci having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ultraslan's İhsan Seyban got a free kick in the 25th minute. Ali Haydar Tolgahan got in the 26th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Andaç Haneci handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 30th match minute, Side was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuh Serim to maneuver through the defense. Dündar Onbulak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sabit Kutlucan went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 39 minutes into the match, Side's goal looked a bit too open when Şafak Kınay came free, but Dündar Onbulak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şemsettin Metin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sabit Kutlucan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Şafak Kınay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dündar Onbulak having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Şafak Kınay to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match, Şafak Kınay tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dündar Onbulak saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sabit Kutlucan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Dündar Onbulak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, Side was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuh Serim to maneuver through the defense. When Şemsettin Metin came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Side fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şemsettin Metin couldn't finish the play. After 65 minutes of play Ultraslan's Güvenç İmamoğlu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Andaç Haneci didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ali Haydar Tolgahan went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 76 minutes, Ali Haydar Tolgahan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Side's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Haydar Tolgahan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Nuh Serim came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Side fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuh Serim couldn't finish the play. İzzet Kırdar kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Sabit Kutlucan might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dündar Onbulak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sabit Kutlucan ran back to his position shaking his head. Dündar Onbulak made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Sabit Kutlucan sent off a good shot on target. Atacan Okuyan hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. If Ali Haydar Tolgahan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Haydar Tolgahan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andaç Haneci read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. The Side supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ultraslan's performance. The match ended with a win for Ultraslan.
