When İshak Yağızalp was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 35 minutes had been played. In the 36th minute, İshak Yağızalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rıdvan Demirel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Mehdi Çerağ made a huge save. In the 39th match minute, Erzurum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeynel Derelioğlu to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Işık Hünkar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Utku Subahi was relentless in the 48th minute of the game.
