The supporters of Elazig booed when Kücükbakkalköy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hüseyin Cahit Ocak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elazig's Edwin Alströmmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kutluay Baştürk in the 9th minute of play. Dadá Matorin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saffet Recep read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. 1-1 became the score in the 22nd minute when Rıdvan Civanmert elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Kücükbakkalköy's goalkeeper Saffet Recep had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dadá Matorin.
