The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artaç Candemir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Mehdi Salah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gürsel Kadim came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Sürüc SK fans jumped to their feet. A long shot from Barış Malkoçoğlu in the 45th minute of play was well struck, but Mehdi Salah made a really good save at the right post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yavuz Selim Candaner to strike the kick off in the second half. Mutki SK's Mehdi Salah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamit Devrim in the 51st minute of play.
