Bayezit Harmandalı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mirkelam Duyar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of MaviAteŞ booed when Istinye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Muhsin İhlas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Istinye's goal looked a bit too open when Hasan Yalım came free, but Bayezit Harmandalı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Muhsin İhlas kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Ali Vedat Falcıoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Istinye's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Vedat Falcıoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th match minute, Istinye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Coşkun İmar to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Yalçın Torum got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Günalp Güdeş threw the ball into play from the sideline. MaviAteŞ's Şener Paşa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yalçın Torum in the 29th minute of play forced Istinye's goalkeeper Bayezit Harmandalı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mirkelam Duyar hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Yavuz Bülent Altunç took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Halil Utku Taif. Halil Utku Taif dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Istinye's Bayezit Harmandalı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yalçın Torum in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Mirkelam Duyar notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Istinye's Bayezit Harmandalı. Bayezit Harmandalı was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Istinye players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MaviAteŞ were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kutlay Bozkurt was the one to do the kick off. Halil Utku Taif made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kutlay Bozkurt in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th match minute, Istinye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Bülent Sabih to maneuver through the defense. When Yalçın Torum came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the MaviAteŞ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yalçın Torum couldn't finish the play. 61 minutes into the match, Istinye's goal looked a bit too open when Yalçın Torum came free, but Bayezit Harmandalı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bayezit Harmandalı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mirkelam Duyar, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Bayezit Harmandalı was a little too slow when Yalçın Torum got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 1-3. Halil Utku Taif made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kutlay Bozkurt in the 77th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yalçın Torum in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bayezit Harmandalı saved Istinye from getting behind. 87 minutes into the match, MaviAteŞ's goal looked a bit too open when Umut Yavuzer came free, but Halil Utku Taif reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bayezit Harmandalı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yalçın Torum in the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yalçın Torum in the 91st minute of play forced Istinye's goalkeeper Bayezit Harmandalı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Istinye's Bayezit Harmandalı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yalçın Torum in the 94th minute of play. MaviAteŞ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
