Bahadır Uludağ succeeded in the game's 10th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. In the 14th minute, Luís Eduardo de Azevedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esrarengiz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 17th match minute, Esrarengiz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yakut Ylsak to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Bilkent's goal looked a bit too open when Müslüm Yurdaer came free, but Kubilay Onat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bahadır Uludağ in the 27th minute of play forced Bilkent's goalkeeper Kubilay Onat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 minutes, Yakut Ylsak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esrarengiz and the Bilkent players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Esrarengiz's Yakut Ylsak got a free kick in the 28th minute. Yalçın Erakıncı blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remzi Yüksel having to make a save. In the 30th minute, Müslüm Yurdaer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Bilkent's zone, Luís Eduardo de Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kubilay Onat came out of the goal and Luís Eduardo de Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 36 minutes, Luís Eduardo de Azevedo made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Bilkent's Kubilay Onat tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Remzi Yüksel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fikri Akar in the 42nd minute of play. Ali Orhan Taş kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fikri Akar to strike the kick off in the second half. When Fikri Akar came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Bilkent fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fikri Akar couldn't finish the play. Müslüm Yurdaer hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute Yalçın Erakıncı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remzi Yüksel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bahadır Uludağ in the 60th minute of play forced Bilkent's goalkeeper Kubilay Onat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Luís Eduardo de Azevedo put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Kubilay Onat. Remzi Yüksel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yalçın Erakıncı in the 70th minute of the match. Luís Eduardo de Azevedo had several of the Bilkent's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 71 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Kubilay Onat as he didn't even see the shot coming. Kubilay Onat was a little too slow when Bahadır Uludağ got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 0-6. In the 82nd minute, Yalçın Erakıncı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Remzi Yüksel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yalçın Erakıncı in the 84th minute of the match. After 86 played minutes Bilkent got a freekick which was hit by Batur Bozdoğan. With a little luck, Bilkent's Kubilay Onat got control of the ball when Luís Eduardo de Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Bilkent fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Esrarengiz were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
