Nejat Çağlar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Ali Güralp Samil skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 20 minutes into the match, Artova's goalkeeper Ali Güralp Samil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nejat Çağlar. After a rather tough play, Biga FK's Ahmet Davut Uca got a free kick in the 23rd minute. A hard shot 28 in the game by Nejat Çağlar from a close distance when the talented Ali Güralp Samil managed to make a qualified save. Artova's players were relieved. In the 36th minute, Gökalp Sabi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Ali Güralp Samil managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Biga FK's Nejat Çağlar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 46 minutes into the match, Nejat Çağlar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ali Güralp Samil, 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ayhan İhtiyar to make the kick off. In the 63rd minute Nejat Çağlar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Güralp Samil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ayhan İhtiyar struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Ali Güralp Samil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Biga FK. 68 minutes into the match, Artova's goal looked a bit too open when Nejat Çağlar came free, but Ali Güralp Samil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ayhan İhtiyar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ali Güralp Samil having to make a save. The supporters of Biga FK booed when Artova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kuddusî Kaman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Selçuk Kutalmış took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ali Güralp Samil. Artova's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ali Güralp Samil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ayhan İhtiyar in the 93rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nejat Çağlar in the 94th minute of play forced Artova's goalkeeper Ali Güralp Samil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Güralp Samil came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Biga FK's Nejat Çağlar. But to his dismay, Nejat Çağlar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Biga FK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Artova had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
