Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bayramören JK's Kadir Suel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of galata booed when Bayramören JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abbas Yalın didn't get a good kick on the ball. The tension between the galata and the Bayramören JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Nizam Pehlivan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Emin Aktaşlıoğlu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of galata's Temel Ulukut. Temel Ulukut was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Hikmet Nasrullah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tümer İmamoğlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nizam Pehlivan in the 38th minute.

The wind increased when Hikmet Nasrullah made the kick off in the second half. When Nizam Pehlivan came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the galata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nizam Pehlivan couldn't finish the play.
