Cemil Alpman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Taner Batıhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Bratt in the 22nd minute of the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Bayhan Çetinel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Madrid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bayhan Çetinel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute, Ferid Tunca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harry Bratt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bayhan Çetinel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Taner Batıhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute of the match, Cemil Alpman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Orçun Harmancı saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 47th minute, Akkus JK's Cemil Alpman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience was convinced that Serdar Otay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Taner Batıhan was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Cemil Alpman's late challenge caught a Real Madrid's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 83 played minutes Akkus JK got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Gökalp Aşkıner. Real Madrid's Serdar Otay got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Harry Bratt fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Taner Batıhan, passed just outside the right post. If Bayhan Çetinel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harry Bratt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Taner Batıhan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Bayhan Çetinel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Taner Batıhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bayhan Çetinel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle sounded Real Madrid left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Akkus JK.
