In the 13th minute, Baklan JK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Devlet Balyemez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Devlet Balyemez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st match minute, Baklan JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şimşek Orsan to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the game, Birant Özçevik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Baklan JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AfyonKarahisar the free kick. Birant Özçevik kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Vedat Sabit made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Ramazan Akşin sent off a good shot on target. If Ramazan Akşin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şimşek Orsan kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Baklan JK's zone, Ramazan Akşin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vedat Sabit came out of the goal and Ramazan Akşin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Baklan JK getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Alparslan Canbek hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, AfyonKarahisar's Devlet Balyemez got a free kick in the 36th minute. The supporters of AfyonKarahisar booed when Baklan JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baran Alp Çokay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Devlet Balyemez struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Vedat Sabit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AfyonKarahisar. With an all-out effort, AfyonKarahisar's Vedat Sabit threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hasret Koyas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. AfyonKarahisar's Atilla Kağan Akansel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alparslan Canbek in the 45th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Alparslan Canbek made the kick off in the second half. Ramazan Akşin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vedat Sabit having to interfere. Atilla Kağan Akansel was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Birant Özçevik capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Birant Özçevik really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Vedat Sabit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramazan Akşin in the 60th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramazan Akşin in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vedat Sabit saved Baklan JK from getting behind. Vedat Sabit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramazan Akşin, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Devlet Balyemez in the 64th minute of play forced Baklan JK's goalkeeper Vedat Sabit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Devlet Balyemez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Devlet Balyemez in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vedat Sabit prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ramazan Akşin scored 1-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vedat Sabit, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Şimşek Orsan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Atilla Kağan Akansel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Şimşek Orsan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atilla Kağan Akansel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alparslan Canbek in the 85th minute of play. When Şimşek Orsan came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Baklan JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şimşek Orsan couldn't finish the play. Ramazan Akşin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
