Eskisehir's Barışcan Ertaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mümtaz Tandoğan in the 3rd minute of play. Barışcan Ertaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ertuğrul Ilgın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Veli Kutlan kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Selahaddin Saygılı made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Sinan Tokyay sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute Elias Alegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barışcan Ertaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Elias Alegren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NEVO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 27th minute Aureliusz Kendra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barışcan Ertaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barışcan Ertaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Alegren in the 28th minute of play. Barışcan Ertaş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cengiz Tanır, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Mümtaz Tandoğan scored 0-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Barışcan Ertaş, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ertuğrul Ilgın in the 36th minute of play forced Eskisehir's goalkeeper Barışcan Ertaş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barışcan Ertaş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliusz Kendra in the 39th minute of the match. Aureliusz Kendra hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Sinan Tokyay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Ertuğrul Ilgın had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Barışcan Ertaş. Eskisehir's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ertuğrul Ilgın was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sinan Tokyay to strike the kick off in the second half. Barışcan Ertaş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ertuğrul Ilgın, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Barışcan Ertaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ertuğrul Ilgın in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, NEVO's Jan-Åke Arenstedt got a free kick in the 66th minute. Barışcan Ertaş made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Aureliusz Kendra sent off a good shot on target. Barışcan Ertaş came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by NEVO's Aureliusz Kendra. But to his dismay, Aureliusz Kendra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 73 minutes into the match, Eskisehir's goal looked a bit too open when Ertuğrul Ilgın came free, but Barışcan Ertaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, NEVO's Erkan Şükür broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Eskisehir's Barışcan Ertaş proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Eskisehir from getting a goal against them. Barışcan Ertaş was a little too slow when Ertuğrul Ilgın got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-6. After 80 played minutes NEVO got a freekick which was hit by Ertuğrul Ilgın. Ertuğrul Ilgın received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Barışcan Ertaş came out and tried to block the shot, but Ertuğrul Ilgın slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 85th minute. Barışcan Ertaş was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Elias Alegren showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 89 minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Mümtaz Tandoğan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Barışcan Ertaş, 0-9. In the 97th play minute Ertuğrul Ilgın came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Barışcan Ertaş. 0-10. NEVO played a much better game than Eskisehir and deserved their victory. The Eskisehir players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
