After a rather tough play, Fenerbahce's Aybar Yabgu got a free kick in the 11th minute. Tolunay Hanönü fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet İlhan Zahit having to interfere. Ahmet İlhan Zahit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özcan Sena in the 22nd minute of play. In the 30th minute, Özcan Sena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Aybar Yabgu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amadeu Melo. Akcakoca FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aybar Yabgu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Tolunay Hanönü got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Özcan Sena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmet İlhan Zahit read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of Akcakoca FC booed when Fenerbahce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batıray Demiray didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tolunay Hanönü sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute, Akcakoca FC's Gonzalo Orlo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gonzalo Orlo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Akcakoca FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gonzalo Orlo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Amadeu Melo had in the 55thth minute some difficulties stopping Kutlu Mirza's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Tolunay Hanönü fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet İlhan Zahit having to interfere. Ahmet İlhan Ongun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmet İlhan Zahit read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute Dudu Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet İlhan Zahit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ahmet İlhan Ongun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet İlhan Zahit came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Akcakoca FC's Ahmet İlhan Ongun. But to his dismay, Ahmet İlhan Ongun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 69 minutes into the game, Şemsettin Vefi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fenerbahce's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Akcakoca FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahce's Şemsettin Vefi got a free kick in the 69th minute. After 71 played minutes Fenerbahce got a freekick which was hit by Aybar Yabgu. Dudu Quadros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmet İlhan Zahit read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolunay Hanönü in the 76th minute of play forced Fenerbahce's goalkeeper Ahmet İlhan Zahit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ahmet İlhan Ongun came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Akcakoca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet İlhan Ongun couldn't finish the play. In the 81st match minute, Fenerbahce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aybar Yabgu to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet İlhan Ongun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ahmet İlhan Zahit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Fenerbahce defense, Andaç Balcı kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet İlhan Zahit. The Fenerbahce fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet İlhan Zahit should have stopped the shot. The long shot by Ozan İncesu in the 94th minute really tested Amadeu Melo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ahmet İlhan Ongun kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 98th minute Ahmet İlhan Ongun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet İlhan Zahit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Akcakoca FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
