Savaş Özveren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melih Cevdet Evirgen in the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Ferdi Karluk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Temel Zati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ferdi Karluk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melih Cevdet Evirgen in the 21st minute of play forced Agacören FK's goalkeeper Savaş Özveren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Acun Altunışık kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Yavuz Sökmen might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Savaş Özveren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yavuz Sökmen ran back to his position shaking his head. 31 minutes into the match, Agacören FK's Ferdi Yoruç sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Temel Zati narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Kınıkspor's Dilmen Afacan got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Erkut Adal's late challenge caught a Agacören FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erkut Adal helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Kınıkspor getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Erkut Adal hit a great ball. When Ferdi Karluk came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Agacören FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdi Karluk couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kınıkspor's goalkeeper Temel Zati, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Temel Zati stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferdi Yoruç's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
