Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Saffet Eldemir got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Basri Mengüalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Giray Hicab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Vefik Seza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umut İpekçi, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Ahmet Vefik Seza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yaman Çeliksu in the 10th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saffet Eldemir in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Ozan Kurban prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saffet Eldemir in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Ozan Kurban saved Kocaelispor from getting behind. Umut İpekçi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Vefik Seza having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Yaman Çeliksu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Yaman Çeliksu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ahmet Vefik Seza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yaman Çeliksu in the 41st minute of play forced Mazgirt JK's goalkeeper Ahmet Vefik Seza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Ozan Kurban was a little too slow when Sakut Arslan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 2-1. Ahmet Vefik Seza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yaman Çeliksu in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Mazgirt JK's zone, Şahin Bostancıoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Vefik Seza came out of the goal and Şahin Bostancıoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute, Mazgirt JK's Baransel Ataseven seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Baransel Ataseven the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mazgirt JK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Baransel Ataseven had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 58th minute, one of Mazgirt JK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mazgirt JK. If Umut İpekçi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the game, Mazgirt JK's Sakut Arslan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmet Ozan Kurban made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The audience was convinced that Saffet Eldemir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Ozan Kurban was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Aybars Kutel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saffet Eldemir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ahmet Ozan Kurban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Umut İpekçi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 minutes of play, Kocaelispor's Umut İpekçi made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet Vefik Seza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kocaelispor's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
